Crane Hire

Freo Group has an extensive fleet of over 497 mobile and crawler cranes, ranging from 3T to 800T, along with experienced operators and riggers. Available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Heavy Lifting

Our heavy lift team is one of Australia’s best. Our demonstrated in field experience provides safe, specialised lifting solutions for complex projects across Australia.

Project Logistics & Supply Chain Management

Freo Group provides an extensive range of project logistics and supply chain management services for any project. The combination of supply chain management experience, a flexible workforce, and an adaptable operational model allows our logistics arm to provide clients with innovative efficiencies, cost-avoidance strategies, and quality services.

Renewables

Our experienced renewables team has executed projects across Australia for key clients, helping to build and maintain this growing market.

Freo Group has made a significant investment in the purchase of specialised cranes to service wind sector construction and installation. We have the skills and equipment to service our customers in the growing wind farm and renewable energy market Australia-wide.

Engineering

Our in-house engineering department has the ability to generate custom lift plans utilising our expertise and industry knowledge.

The engineering department ensures Freo Group can deliver safe execution, technical benefits, increase productivity and cost savings. Our lift library consists of over 8,000 lift studies carried out for over 450 clients across Australia. If it needs lifting chances are we have done it before and are ready to do it again.

Our Experience

Freo Group has been providing services since 1974 with our first branch established in Kwinana, Western Australia. Our successful execution of services has significantly grown Freo Group and now the company operates 21 fully equipped branches located in Western Australia, Northern Territory, Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

We support some of Australia’s largest projects in the mining & resources, civil construction and renewable energy industries. As a result, Freo Group is now the market leader in the industry providing mobile crane hire and logistics to some of the world’s largest companies.
